About the role

The Speech/Language Pathologist assists in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Speech/Language Pathologist must work closely with family, staff and administrators.

Pay

$68,707 - $135,620 per year (2025-26 SVEA Salary Schedule *2026-27 TBD). Salary range based on 1.0 FTE.

Insurance: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, basic life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance provided the assignment is anticipated to work at least 630 hours per year.

Retirement Plans: This position is eligible for a 403(b) TSA Retirement Savings Plan.

Paid Holidays: This position is not eligible for paid holidays.

Paid Time Off: Certificated employees receive 12 sick days and 2 discretionary personal leave days each school year. Sick leave and discretionary personal leave days are based on scheduled hours and position start date.

Snoqualmie Valley School District benefits are administered by the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) under the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB). Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). Any employee who is scheduled to work 630 hours or more in a year is eligible for benefits.
