About the role

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students with complex communication needs, including assessment, therapy delivery, and monitoring progress.
• Support student assessment, transition, and placement processes to ensure effective communication provision.
• Deliver staff training on communication strategies and student-specific approaches.
• Promote best practice by supporting curriculum adaptation and evaluating communication environments.
• Maintain accurate records and meet professional standards, including CPD, supervision, and appraisal.
• Work collaboratively across teams to support organizational priorities and strategic direction.
• Deliver high standards of service in line with the organization's quality framework.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
• Undertake additional duties as required by the Principal.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a relevant qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and have experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Schedule

This is a Term Time Only position, with 16 hours per week.
