Contract Type: Continuing. Calendar: 190 Day KAP Calendar.

Requirements

• Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• 72 college level credits from an accredited institution.
• Score of 455 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent.
• If you do not yet meet one of these qualifications and are willing to take the ParaPro Assessment, you can still apply; finalists will have the opportunity to take the test prior to hire.
• Upon hire, paraeducators must complete state required training offered through the KSD Professional Development Team.

Pay

Hourly salary range: $30.89 – $37.99. Salary placement follows the KAP Salary Schedule based on verified years of experience in an educational unit. Salary is annualized and spread through August.
