SpED Paraeducator - Integrated Program (IP) Long-Term Temporary
Contract Details
Position: LTT (Long‑Term Temporary) contract. Hours: 6.50 hrs/day, from August 25 to approximately November 2, 2026 (190 days). Salary: hourly rate ranging from $30.89 to $37.99, annualized and spread through August according to the KAP Salary Schedule, with step placement based on verified years of experience in an educational unit.

Requirements
- Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution, OR
- 72 college‑level credits from an accredited institution, OR
- A score of 455 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent.
If you do not yet meet one of these qualifications and are willing to take the ParaPro Assessment, you may still apply. Finalist candidates will have the opportunity to take the test prior to formal hire.
Post‑hire: Upon hire, paraeducators must complete state‑required training offered through the KSD Professional Development Team.
