Veterinary Technician Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Full Technician Skill Utilization
  • Experience in Surgery and/or Emergency preferred
  • Oversee orientation, training and staff development for specialty services
  • Provide input to service development and equipment needs
  • Oversee dept scheduling, and time off requests
  • Collaborate with team members of all hospital services
  • Coach associates based on need to aid in their success
  • Some regional travel required
  • Facilitate communication of ideas, policies, standards and performance
  • Provide feedback related to associate performance, and collaborate with leadership to develop performance improvement plans
  • Support associates in their career via VTNE guidance, licensure guidance, and scheduling
  • Maintain skill efficiency and knowledge

Compensation

$32 - $36 / hour based on skill set, experience, and licensure status. (CVT, VTS)
