Specialty Technician - Endoscopy/GI Center

Job Summary

Specialty Technicians perform a variety of routine and advanced patient care tasks under the direction of nursing staff to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients. Additionally, Specialty Technicians perform a variety of clerical and technical tasks as assigned and according to the assignment setting.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school or equivalent
• Minimum Work Experience: No previous experience required
• Licenses/Certifications: Hospital-based training program, CPR-BLS within 30 days of hire
• Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Deal effectively with community/consumers
  • Deal effectively with hospital personnel and duties of position
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills
  • Maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times
