Specialty Surgeon Veterinarian - New Jersey

The Role

Bond Vet is seeking a motivated Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. This position offers specialty-level surgery consultations and procedures, as well as opportunities to mentor.

Responsibilities

• Perform soft tissue and orthopedic procedures on an outpatient basis
• Provide consultations for Bond clients and referrals from external hospitals
• Partner with Bond General Practice and Urgent Care providers to create a complete ecosystem for surgery and long-term follow-up
• [As Interested] Engage in teaching programs to help new graduates learn surgery and experienced practitioners hone their skills (this will include philanthropy opportunities!)

Qualifications

• Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM/VMD or foreign equivalent)
• Board certification or residency-trained and licensed in good standing or ability to obtain licensure to practice as a veterinary professional in New Jersey and/or New York State
• DEA licensure and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if needed for all states for clinics under supervision

Pay

Salary Range: $220,000 – $275,000 annually with above market production. Exact salary will be dependent on the candidate’s schedule, skills, location and experience level.
