Specialty Sales Team Leader- (Scottsdale, AZ)
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Not include Job ID.
We must remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. The text includes "Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)" etc. That's legal boilerplate; we should remove it. Also "Benefits Eligibility Please paste this url..." that's a link but it's about benefits eligibility; we could keep the link as part of Benefits? It's a URL for eligibility. Might be considered part of benefits info. We can keep it as a link within Benefits section.
We must not include application instructions. The "Benefits Eligibility Please paste this url..." is not exactly application instruction but it's a link for eligibility; we can keep as part of Benefits.
We must not duplicate lines.

Pay
The starting pay range for this position per hour is $22.00 - $24.00. The full pay range for this position per hour is $22.00 - $37.40. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
Schedule
You are open to working a variable work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, closing shifts and other peak shopping times). Although the role is full-time, it does not come with a guarantee of 40 hours each week. Hours will depend on the needs of the business and may fluctuate as required. Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and reliable and prompt attendance necessary.
We need to ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like "ALL ABOUT TARGET" etc. We removed that. Also removed "ALL ABOUT SPECIALTY SALES" etc. We kept the role description in About the role.
We need to ensure we didn't repeat content unnecessarily. The About the role paragraph should capture the description of the role: "Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life..." and the specialty sales team leader description. Let's craft a concise but comprehensive paragraph preserving all substantive information. Must not invent or summarize away detail. We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. That means we must keep all details from the posting, not omit any. That's tough: we must keep all specifics. The posting includes many details: about Target vision, about Specialty Sales, about leaders having meaningful experiences, role of a Specialty Sales Team Leader can provide you with skills and experience list (guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, planning department workload, leading multiple businesses, leading a team of hourly team members). Then "As a Specialty Sales Team Leader, No Two Days Are Ever The Same, But a Typical Day Will Most Likely Include The Following Responsibilities:" then a long list of responsibilities. Then "WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR" includes bullet points about enjoying interacting, thriving in fast-moving, open to variable schedule, training note, then skills list. Then "We Are An Awesome Place To Work..." includes list of expectations: access all areas, interpret instructions, accurately handle cash register, climb ladders, scan/handle/move merchandise, flexible schedule, capable of working in varying temperatures, ability to remain mobile.
We must preserve all that. So we cannot omit any of those details. So we need to include them in appropriate sections.
Thus we need to split content: About the role: maybe include the introductory paragraphs about Target vision and Specialty Sales description, plus the role of a Specialty Sales Team Leader can provide you with skills and experience list (the bullet list after "The Role Of a Specialty Sales Team Leader Can Provide You With The Skills And Experience Of:").
Responsibilities: the long list after "As a Specialty Sales Team Leader, No Two Days Are Ever The Same, But a Typical Day Will Most Likely Include The Following Responsibilities:".
Requirements: maybe the "WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR" first three bullet points (enjoy interacting, thrive..., open to variable schedule) plus the training note? The training note is not a requirement but maybe part of "What we are looking for". Could be part of Requirements? Might be better to treat as "Qualifications" or "Skills". But we need to keep all details.
Qualifications: maybe the "The Good News Is That We Have Some Amazing Training That Will Help Teach You Everything You Need To Know To Be a Specialty Sales Team Leader." That's a statement about training.
Skills: the list after "But, There Are a Few Skills You Should Have From The Get-go:" (high school diploma, age, previous retail experience, lead and hold others accountable, ability to communicate..., work independently..., manage workload..., welcoming attitude, effective communication, capability to remain focused...).
Then "We Are An Awesome Place To Work And Care About Our Teams, So We Want To Make Sure We Are Clear On a Few More Basics That We Expect:" includes many expectations: access all areas, interpret instructions, accurately handle cash register, climb ladders, scan/handle/move merchandise, flexible schedule, capable of working in varying temperatures, ability to remain mobile. These could be considered Requirements or maybe "Qualifications". We'll need to place them somewhere.
We must not create sections with filler. So we need to decide which headings to use: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We have content for all except maybe Qualifications. We could put the training statement under Qualifications. Or we could put the "We Are An Awesome Place To Work..." list under Requirements (as they are expectations). But we already have Requirements for the "WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR" first three bullets. Could combine.
Better: Requirements: includes the "WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR" first three bullets (enjoy interacting, thrive..., open to variable schedule) plus the "We Are An Awesome Place To Work..." list (access all areas, interpret instructions, handle cash register, climb ladders, scan/handle/move merchandise, flexible schedule, capable of working in varying temperatures, ability to remain mobile). That seems like requirements.
Qualifications: could include the training statement and maybe the "Previous retail experience preferred, but not required" but that's already in Requirements? Actually we could move that to Requirements as well.
However note that high school diploma, age, previous retail experience also appear in Requirements; we might duplicate. To avoid duplication, we should split: Requirements: the expectations (access all areas, interpret instructions, handle cash register, climb ladders, scan/handle/move merchandise, flexible schedule, capable of working in varying temperatures, ability to remain mobile).
