Responsibilities
- Receive inbound calls to review prescription accuracy and therapy appropriateness
- Check for drug interactions using guidelines for decision-making
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address clinical and escalated issues
- Interpret assignments and determine appropriate courses of action independently
- Collaborate with team members while working independently to achieve goals
- Maintain a strong work ethic in a productive environment
Qualifications
- Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or PharmD) from an accredited college
- Active pharmacist license in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, or Texas
- 2+ years of pharmacy experience in a high-volume setting
- Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with technology troubleshooting
