Specialty Operations Pharmacist

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound calls to review prescription accuracy and therapy appropriateness
  • Check for drug interactions using guidelines for decision-making
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address clinical and escalated issues
  • Interpret assignments and determine appropriate courses of action independently
  • Collaborate with team members while working independently to achieve goals
  • Maintain a strong work ethic in a productive environment

Qualifications

  • Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or PharmD) from an accredited college
  • Active pharmacist license in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, or Texas
  • 2+ years of pharmacy experience in a high-volume setting
  • Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with technology troubleshooting
