Specialty Development Executive, Rare Disease - Arizona, Utah, New Mexico

For our client, we are seeking a Specialty Development Executive, Rare Disease - Arizona, Utah, New Mexico to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This remote sales role will focus on driving growth within a defined territory across Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. The position is responsible for building relationships with targeted healthcare customers, expanding access to laboratory testing services, and advancing business development efforts in the rare disease market. You will partner closely with internal sales colleagues to generate pipeline, support customer education, and convert opportunities into measurable revenue growth. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Sell laboratory testing services within the assigned territory Achieve sales goals and drive maximum growth Build and execute an annual business plan Cold call to develop a robust sales pipeline Accurately forecast sales opportunities Manage travel logistics to support sales productivity Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities Attend trade shows and events Communicate value propositions to targeted customers Provide ongoing support and education for customers Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of medical outside sales experience Bachelor's degree preferred At least 1 year of experience in rare disease with established relationships Experience in laboratory or diagnostics sales is a plus Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage 401(k) plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition reimbursement Employee Stock Purchase Plan Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
