About the role
The Specialty Care Services Specialty Clinic Nurse provides nursing care to patients and families in an outpatient specialty care clinic setting specializing in Pulmonary Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients and families.
- Works in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team including Board Certified Pulmonologists, Academic Fellows, Residents, and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners.
- Provides care for patients with various lung and sleep disorders including General Pulmonary Medicine, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Technology Dependence/Home Ventilators, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD), Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD), and Sleep (including Behavioral Sleep Disorders, Snore, and CPAP/BiPAP management).
Requirements
- Credentials: Registered Nurse AL Single State or equivalent qualifications.
- Education: Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience: 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Outpatient.
