Specialty Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Urology
About the role
The Specialty Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide clinical care and support department partnerships to achieve positive patient outcomes. The Specialty Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life‑span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information required to identify needs of the patient relative to his/her age and condition. The Specialty Nurse possesses specialized knowledge, skills and training to provide care to patients with complex pathology and operates at a higher level with larger amounts of autonomy than a Staff Nurse in ECU Health's Specialty Clinics. Located at the ECU Health Urology Clinic (outpatient) in Greenville, NC. ECU Health Physicians is a multi‑specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.
Requirements
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Current license as a RN in the state of North Carolina.
- Demonstrates competencies in nursing practice.
- Basic computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- American Heart Association ACLS may be required based on clinic.
- 3+ years directly related specialty experience is required.
Pay
Specialty Nurse annual rate range > $68,806.40 - $100,294.48. Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.
Schedule
Full-time (40 hrs/week), Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. No nights, weekends, call, or holidays.
