Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Routine on-person sales calls specific to urology, urogynecology and gynecology with clearly communicated product demonstrations and in-servicing
- Proper call preparation, planning and reporting
- Conduct territory analysis via Sagent’s CRM systems and perform territory administrative duties
- Maintain strong communications via phone, email, local/regional/national association’s meetings, and other forms of communication with targeted accounts & clinicians in defined territory
- Execute brand strategies to ensure a consistent company sales and marketing message
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
- The successful candidate will develop and manage a territory selling Sagent Specialty Products to the hospital, clinic, physician offices and surgery centers.
- A knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations, Distributor Vendors, and clinical sales to physicians is highly desired.
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred. Or comparable experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in direct technical sales.
- Ability to learn, comprehend and apply medical and scientific information to drive increased product utilization among targeted customers.
- Basic computer skills (experience in with Microsoft Office).
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal acumen.
