About the role
You have what it takes: a competitive drive coupled with exceptional sales ability. In this role you will meet and/or exceed sales performance objectives in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key specialty customer targets and accounts.
Responsibilities
- Apply scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement expertise to specialty providers in support of existing biologics portfolio.
- Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialty customers and identify the appropriate resources to refer customers to appropriate resources for reimbursement and pull-through.
- Analyze sales data and develop territory business plans and tactics to consistently grow business.
- Collaborate at a high level with internal team members (Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Market Access, and MSLs).
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years pharmaceutical or medical device experience required
- 2+ years of account-based sales experience with preference in the allergy/respiratory or biologics space.
- Understanding of Buy & Bill and Specialty Pharmacy distribution modalities preferred.
- Planning and organization skills, analytical ability, business acumen, decision making ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
