About the role

LaForce is seeking a Specialties Estimator in their Green Bay, WI office. This role involves analyzing architectural plans, preparing accurate and competitive bids, and collaborating with various stakeholders including architects, customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural plans, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate bids
• Identify discrepancies and communicate with architects, customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Manage bid timelines and maintain organized project documentation
• Interpret technical information and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Stay current on supplier products and industry updates
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and support project success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
• Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating or related field preferred
• Knowledge of building specialty products and industry standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
