Estimator

Job Requirements

• Utilizing computer estimating systems and related software to accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems.
• Maintaining comprehensive estimating logs and unit costs for all projects.
• Establishing and nurturing vendor relationships crucial to project success.
• Conducting site surveys and participating in pre-bid walkthroughs to ensure thorough project understanding.
• Collaborating closely with sales and project management teams to ensure projects are executed within budget and in alignment with plans and specifications.

Work Experience

• Associate's degree in business or engineering.
• 2-5 years of estimating experience in the HVAC industry with a proven track record.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents.
• Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and proficient computer skills.

Additional Skills

• PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree.
