About the role

The Specials Recovery Registered Nurse coordinates patient care across all ages, focusing on pre, intra, and post-recovery in a specialized setting.

Responsibilities

• monitoring patients in the recovery room, assessing their condition, and identifying potential complications;
• preparing medications and treatments as prescribed;
• collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care;
• maintaining accurate documentation of patient care;
• ensuring equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked;
• consulting with senior management on complex treatment plans.

Requirements

• an associate degree;
• at least 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in a clinical specialty (such as cardiac, telemetry, ED, PCU, or ICU).

Qualifications

• valid RN license in North Carolina or a compact state;
• BLS (CPR);
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
