Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring patients in the recovery room to assess their condition and identify potential complications.
• Preparing medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate administration.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
• Documenting patient care accurately to maintain complete medical records.
• Maintaining and stocking equipment and supplies in the recovery area.
• Seeking guidance from senior management on complex treatment plans and issues.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Three years of RN experience and one year in a clinical specialty, such as cardiac, telemetry, ED, PCU, or ICU.
• Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state, with BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
