Specialized Account Executive - BFSI

About the role
Siemens DISW is seeking a driven, high-impact Specialized Account Executive with deep expertise in banking, financial services, and enterprise-wide Data & Analytics. This individual contributor role focuses on orchestrating solutions across the complete data lifecycle and low-code/no-code platforms for app development. You will engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to identify, develop, and close opportunities while managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts. The role offers the chance to work with Tier 1 banks and leading insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Build pipeline, deliver targets, and drive growth through strategic, tactical, and transformative opportunities.
- Understand transformation initiatives in banks and financial services, mapping solutions to those initiatives.
- Sell the complete portfolio (Rapidminer and Mendix) into line-of-business and technology divisions within BFSI, including Tier 1 banks and major insurers.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, balancing quick wins with long-cycle, complex deals while maintaining pipeline visibility.
- Identify and develop net-new accounts, executing major account development plans for consistent quarter-on-quarter revenue growth.
- Collaborate with pre-sales to create solutions and deliver presentations tailored to multiple personas within sales opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customers' IT roadmaps, guiding vision expansion, and compressing decision cycles.
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams (sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, finance) for seamless customer engagement.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations (online and onsite) that align company solutions with customer needs.
- Negotiate and close deals, balancing company and customer objectives to foster "win-win" relationships.
- Develop strong internal and external relationships to drive sales teamwork, productivity, and revenue.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasting, and reporting using CRM/sales tools.
- Communicate consistently and effectively, providing open, honest, and respectful feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above (required).
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with demonstrable success selling complex solutions (e.g., Business Process Management, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Business Analytics, or Data Science).
- History of consistent sales quota achievement and hitting multi-million-dollar annual revenue targets.
- Excellent knowledge of company products/services and pricing practices.
- Proven selling skills, initiative, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial and market awareness, with experience in both direct and channel sales.
- Background in Financial Services, FinTech, or related field sales, particularly with Data, Cloud, and Analytics solutions.
- Proven track record of overachievement in selling complex solutions at the executive level in competitive environments.
- Understanding of financial services operations in credit risk, fraud, payments/collections, and marketing.
- Experience selling Data & Analytics solutions into large global and regional banks.
- Familiarity with core banking platforms, Cloud Data Strategy, ETL tools, and Analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Apache Spark, data lakehouse concepts, knowledge graphs, or big data ecosystems (preferred).
- Ability to execute complex enterprise sales strategies and manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

- Willingness to travel 75% of the time to customer sites for strategic engagement and deal closure.

Pay
$150,000 - $300,000 a year (50/50 Split OTE).
