Support the execution of the carnival.com content plan (focus on non-booked guests) throughout the entire content lifecycle: planning, information gathering, development, CMS implementation, maintenance, optimization, and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new content and maintain existing content through our content management system and e-commerce platform, ensuring quality, consistency, relevancy, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, IT, eCommerce) to plan, gather information, and execute content following brand guidelines, digital style guides, and compliance requirements (SEO/AEO/GEO, performance, ADA).
  • Manage and maintain deck plan and stateroom content shared across carnival.com, GoCCL trade site, reservations system, HUB App, Brand Center DAM site, and brochures.
  • Qualify and manage requests received via the Deck Plans mailbox, coordinating with teams such as Brand Creative, Revenue Management, and SUS.
  • Maintain timelines for scheduled updates and gather information from teams like Ship Building, Revenue Management, and ADA Compliance.
  • Review design files from Brand Creative and external vendors, providing feedback and approvals.
  • Review and process images using Photoshop, implementing updates via CMS (Sitecore) and Dreamweaver, and validating/troubleshooting as needed.
  • Implement new web pages and maintain existing content using templates and HTML, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, SEO/AEO/GEO, site performance, and ADA-compliance.
  • Select, edit, and process image files for web publishing following optimization and performance best practices.
  • Compile and organize detailed information related to ship features, experiences, and itineraries by collaborating with Ship Building, Guest Operations, and Fleet Deployment.
  • Review existing content for accuracy, relevance, brand alignment, search engine optimization, and compliance with guidelines.
  • Proofread copy and make occasional edits.
  • Create and track tickets for Content Strategy and Brand Creative requests using Jira, Asana, or other project management tools.
  • Evaluate incoming requests, determine next steps (resources, assets, priority), and ensure requirements are met.
  • Perform QA testing for content, functionality, and ADA-compliance across platforms and devices; troubleshoot or engage relevant teams as needed.
  • Incorporate learnings from A/B and user testing and ensure proper tagging for analytics and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Computer Science.
  • 1+ years of experience in Digital Marketing or a related field, preferably with both editorial and technical experience.
  • Working knowledge of digital content management systems (e.g., Sitecore).
  • Working knowledge of HTML and Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, and Dreamweaver is a plus.
  • Understanding of SEO/AEO/GEO, ADA accessibility, and web performance best practices.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to proofread and provide feedback on copy.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on content accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Effective project coordination and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, eCommerce).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to apply insights from QA, testing, and performance data.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot content and functionality issues.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and Microsoft Office applications.

Schedule

  • In-office role based in South Florida (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area).
  • Work from a designated Carnival office Monday through Thursday; remote work on Fridays.
  • Must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Work Conditions

  • Primarily in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.
