Responsibilities

  • Create and Improve Content
  • Write, edit, and refresh website content with a focus on clarity and user needs
  • Translate complex financial concepts into plain, approachable language
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, standards, and governance guidelines
  • Review and QA content to ensure accuracy and consistency before publishing
  • Publish content in a CMS such as AEM, Contentful, or Sitecore
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather input and refine messaging
  • Optimize for Search and AI Discovery
  • Apply best practices for keywords, metadata, internal linking, and structured content
  • Use search intent and keyword insights to guide updates and new content
  • Explore how content surfaces in answer engines and generative search
  • Support Accessibility and Clarity
  • Ensure content meets accessibility standards and internal guidelines
  • Apply plain language principles so content is easy to understand and act on
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and alignment
  • Review documents and pages for accessibility, including structure and alternative text
  • Maintain consistency across pages, assets, and metadata in the CMS and related tools
  • Support product updates, campaign launches, and ongoing site improvements
  • Organize content so it is easier to manage and easier to navigate
  • Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve
  • Contribute to continuous improvements as we build a more modern digital experience

Qualifications

  • Experience creating and publishing content in a CMS such as AEM, Contentful, or Sitecore
  • Experience working with structured content (e.g., content fragments) and modular content frameworks
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity and usability
  • Understanding of SEO and digital content best practices
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards and inclusive content principles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting website redesigns or large-scale content updates
  • Exposure to AI-assisted content tools or emerging SEO and GEO practices
  • Background in financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry
  • Familiarity with DAM or PIM systems

Pay

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $105,000 or the hourly equivalent. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
