Specialist, Warehouse Dock Fulfilment
About the role
The Specialist, Warehouse Dock Fulfilment at Estes Forwarding Worldwide (EFW) is responsible for retrieving inventory, packing merchandise, and supporting the fulfillment process. This role operates within a dynamic, fast-paced environment and requires attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve inventory and pack merchandise for shipment according to work orders or oral instructions.
- Control and maintain all records for accurate and timely shipment completion.
- Work in a team environment to complete work assignments.
- Receive and inspect merchandise for quality and accuracy.
- Use computers, email, scanners, and the WMS to track inventory, create paperwork, and document reporting.
- Support and promote company core values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Ability to type and update computer systems quickly and accurately.
- Proven competence to communicate clearly and persuasively with all levels of an organization.
- Mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high-stress environment.
- Experience working in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry preferred.
Qualifications

- Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
- Ability to write routine and general business correspondence.
- Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
- Good judgment; knows when to escalate issues and when to try to resolve them.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, as well as Internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications, such as the WMS.
- Ability to type and update computer systems quickly and accurately.
- Proven competence to communicate clearly and persuasively with all levels of an organization.
- A team player with a high level of energy and self-motivation.
- Mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high-stress environment.
- Experience working in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry preferred.

Schedule
The Specialist, Warehouse Dock Fulfilment typically works a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
