The Role

The ideal candidate for this role is required to have a combination of educational background and practical experience that aligns with the demands of the position.

Requirements

• Holding a BA or Visual Merchandising Certificate is preferred, coupled with at least 2 years of visual merchandising or retail experience, with a preference for luxury sector exposure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is essential.
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
• The candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm for their work and be receptive to constructive criticism, exhibiting a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to updates in the field.
• This candidate must have the ability to capture high-quality photos and be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting weights exceeding 40 pounds.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required, including occasional work outside regular hours to support events.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fine jewelry is a plus.
• Strong team player and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling effective interaction with individuals at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Boutique Director, you will be responsible for consistently updating in store visual merchandising and maintenance with high attention to detail and ensure that all Van Cleef & Arpels Visual guidelines are being implemented in the boutique.
• Maintain Visual Merchandising standards in the boutique.
• Regularly update in store visual merchandising with high attention to detail.
• Ensure monthly Visual Guidelines are being implemented.
• Implement boutique zoning with the Regional Visual Merchandiser.
• Meet regularly with Boutique Director and the Regional Visual Merchandiser to ensure Visual needs are being met.
• Communicate regularly with PR team to replace/update merchandise on display and anticipate product moves, photo shoots and consignments.
• Regularly train boutique teams on Visual Merchandising.
• Avoid incorrect PLV and Signage is displayed and maintained.
• Use Yoobic Visual Merchandising App weekly to share what is currently on display.
• Create quarterly reports of the Visual Merchandising, evaluating and summarizing outcomes of the store zoning and visible assortment.
• Work with security to properly document daily product moves and adjust window value for special events.
• Share Visual Merchandising success stories.
• Handle full lifecycle of wide range maintenance requests from start to finish.
• Develop relationships with all local vendors to facilitate expediency and priority intervention.
• Proactivity in bringing creative solutions to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain overall boutique appearance.
• Maintain/update library appearance.
• Oversee boutique staging and tidiness.
• Install seasonal window animation kits.
• Receive window animation kits and install per guidelines.
• Provide photo recap via the Yoobic App.
• Recycle kits as per the guidelines that are communicated.
• Clock in and out for events.
• Coordinate and implement Visual Merchandising needs around Events, Launches & Client Presentations.
• Work with the Regional Visual Merchandiser and to implement special merchandising for events.
• Be onsite at boutique events to help with Visual Merchandising needs.
• Work with Sales Associates to merchandise displays for client presentations.
