Specialist, Trader Service - International Client Services

About the role

This role is part of Schwab's International Trader Service organization, which has been recognized as the best online broker for the past 10 years. The team is client-focused and aims to be the most trusted trade desk on the street.

Responsibilities

• Work with brokerage clients as the subject matter expert in equities and derivatives (options & futures)
• Handle complex client trades on first and second shifts
• Accelerate your growth trajectory with increased exposure to client interactions
• Collaborate with a diverse workforce at various stages of their careers, including career changers and individuals re-entering the workforce

Requirements

• Series 7 and 63 licenses (obtainable as a condition of employment)
• Series 3 license (obtainable as a condition of employment)
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese preferred, but not required
• One year of experience in Client Service, Financial Services, and/or Brokerage Services, preferably in trading and client interaction
• Desire to learn and progress to Trader 3 level
• Bachelor’s degree
• Passion for trading and market knowledge, ability to discuss trading topics and solutions with clients
• Experience in customer service, client support, and problem resolution
• Proven analytical skills, ability to mitigate risk and adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Trading or familiarity with the securities industry, understanding of options and equities
• Ability to serve as a mentor and role model to less experienced colleagues

Qualifications

• Series 7 and 63 licenses (obtainable as a condition of employment)
• Series 3 license (obtainable as a condition of employment)
• Series 9/10 valued but not required
• Series 34 license preferred
• Takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, independent environment
• Desire to learn and progress through the ranks

Pay
