Specialist, Client Services, International
About the Role
As a member of our International Client Services team, you will serve as the primary face of MEDITECH for our customers around the globe. You will play a critical role in fostering successful, long-term partnerships by facilitating communication between our international customers and MEDITECH’s internal development staff to advocate for financial and administrative software enhancements and modifications. You will troubleshoot, research, and resolve system issues while gaining first-hand insight into healthcare operations abroad.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, research, and solve customer software and system problems.
- Act as the primary contact for clients.
- Answer customer questions and process requests for software enhancements and system modifications.
- Correspond with customers over the phone, letters, fax, and email.
- Provide customer education, both internally at MEDITECH and at customer sites.
- Work on a variety of group projects and communicate with development staff.
- Mentor co-workers.
- Opportunity for limited international travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate degree preferred and/or applicable training, education, or customer service experience, and/or related military experience.
- International Business degree or travel abroad experience a plus, but not required.
- Financial, healthcare administrative experience, and clinical exposure is a plus, but not required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Access to a personal credit card (or the ability to obtain one) to manage initial expenses incurred during business travel.
- Proof of vaccination may be required when traveling to a customer site unless you have an approved medical or religious exemption.
Pay
Hiring salary range: $54,000–$66,000 per year. Actual salary will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
