Specialist - Software Engineering
Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular and Java.
Build serverless and cloudnative solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
Optimize RESTful APIs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Create and maintain technical documentation and playbooks for developed solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop efficient software components using Angular, Java, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices architectures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Lead code reviews and promote software craftsmanship including test-driven and behavior-driven development.
- Maintain application performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and privacy regulations.
- Provide on-call support and troubleshoot production issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to align deliverables.
- Continuously work to reduce technical debt and improve development processes.
Qualifications
Seeking a Specialist with 10 to 12 years of experience in Angular, Java, and AWS services including Lambda and API Gateway.
