About the role

The Specialist, Shareholder Services Representative plays a pivotal role in the Transaction Processing function, specifically within the Transaction Processing job family. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless execution and management of shareholder services transactions. The role supports BNY's commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction by adhering to principles of integrity and transparency. By leveraging expertise in transaction processing, the Specialist contributes to the organization's strategic pillars by enhancing service delivery and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee shareholder services transactions by applying detailed knowledge of transaction processing systems and protocols.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in transaction processing by adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to optimize transaction workflows and improve service delivery.
• Provide exceptional client service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to shareholder transactions.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to support auditing and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex transactions and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with team members.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in transaction processing.

Pay

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
