About the Role

The Shared Services Specialist is a hybrid position supporting on-site Airport Directors and the management team in financial, operational, and people-based initiatives. This role handles basic financial tasks such as invoice receipt, entry, tracking, and cash handling. The Specialist enters daily deposits, closes the books weekly, and may occasionally work in restaurant units. Additionally, the role ensures all employees have proper airport credentials and parking passes.

Responsibilities

• Administer financial reporting software (e.g., My Inventory, Crunchtime, Lynx)
• Enter deposits, reconcile vouchers, and balance cash daily for all operating units
• Set up and maintain contact information for airport vendors
• Receive, enter, and track all invoices
• Order office and other supplies
• Collect cash deposits and vouchers from all operating units daily
• Prepare daily deposits for all operating units
• Maintain functionality of safe(s)
• Distribute live paychecks as needed
• Verify new employee identification for the new hire process
• Act as signatory for SSP America at the airport to set up new employee airport credentials, parking, etc., and retrieve upon termination
• Order and distribute unit uniforms

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of administrative and/or financial experience
• Experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
