Shared Service Specialist
About The Role
We are seeking a Shared Services Specialist to support the printing, balancing, reconciliation, and quality review of hazard, claims, and loss draft checks. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of check production files, maintaining records, preparing reports, and following established procedures and controls.
Responsibilities
- Print hazard, claims, and loss draft checks for various clients according to established schedules and procedures.
- Review and validate check production files prior to processing.
- Balance and reconcile daily check files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Verify check totals, sequence numbers, and payment information before release.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to check printing, balancing, or reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of printed checks and associated documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, security procedures, and client requirements.
- Cook with internal departments to resolve processing issues and meet production deadlines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports as required.
- Aid in quality control reviews to ensure accuracy of printed documents.
- Handle confidential customer and financial information in a secure manner.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 Year Processing Experience
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Candidates should have basic computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, as well as good oral and written communication skills and professional etiquette.
