Specialist, Scheduling
As a Specialist, Scheduling you will apply deep scheduling and project controls expertise to develop, manage, and analyze schedules across a portfolio of capital projects. You will support project leaders with clear visibility into progress, risks, and performance while helping ensure safe, timely execution from planning through closeout.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools, incorporating engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
- Identify project activities, build logic networks, maintain schedule benchmarks, and analyze variances to baseline plans.
- Gather status updates from engineering, procurement, construction, and discipline leads to ensure accurate, timely schedule updates and reporting.
- Lead schedule reviews, evaluate contractor progress, challenge execution plans when needed, and prepare reporting on earned value, risks, and milestones.
- Manage the project review process by providing accurate information and recommendations for stakeholder decision-making.
- Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints across the project lifecycle, escalating and resolving them as needed.
- Conduct research and data analysis to support planning, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate workshops and requirement-gathering activities to support project scope definition and effective planning.
- Develop medium- to long-term work schedules across multiple teams to meet business goals.
- Support project closeout by providing documentation, training, and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of experience enabling effective project scheduling and analysis
- Intermediate proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft tools, with an understanding of Power BI
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of project controls, planning and scheduling, and progress measurement
- Experience applying advanced project management techniques such as CPM, change management, and schedule baselining
Pay
This position has a base salary range of $125,100 - $152,900. At Phillips 66, we are committed to pay transparency and competitive, equitable compensation. Each role is assigned a salary grade with a defined pay range, benchmarked against industry peers.
