About the Role
As a Specialist, SAP Plant Maintenance, you will become part of an iconic brand set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace. Your responsibilities include:
- Handling new design configurations in SAP S/4 HANA for Plant Maintenance
- Implementing maintenance processes such as Corrective Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Emergency Maintenance (with workflow), Overhead Labor, Refurbishment Management, Project Order Maintenance, and Service Order Management with Time and Materials Billing
- Supporting and conducting all training and leading testing sessions for Plant Maintenance
- End-to-end business responsibility for planning the enterprise SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) platform
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to identify technological and business needs, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Defining, realizing, and managing reports critical to production and maintenance operations
- Commissioning and Acceptance: Conducting availability tests, training, and open points tracking (defect processing), final acceptance, and lessons learned

- Capacity Planning and Scheduling
- Technical Objects such as Equipment, Functional locations, Bills of Materials, Measuring Points, Work Centers, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans
- Document Management System (Attachments)
- Spare Parts Planning and Inventory Management
- Preventive Maintenance
- Predictive Maintenance and Analytics
- Mobility Solutions (Asset Manager, Work Manager)
Requirements
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional maintenance experience in industry (automotive production preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or another technical fields. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated expertise in production/maintenance systems such as SAP or another maintenance system
- Ability to quickly adapt to a complex production/IT landscape in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure operational efficiency
- Project management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Autonomous working approach
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
Skills
- Knowledge and experience with Risk Management and FMEA
- Ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains through the implementation of IT solutions and methodologies
- Experience from automotive (OEM and Tier 1)

Pay
Initial Base Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00
