Specialist Repair Technician

What You Will Do

• Performing mid-to-advanced level repairs on digital and analog camera equipment, lenses, and accessories
• Diagnosing a wide range of issues using technical knowledge and testing tools
• Request purchase orders from appropriate vendors for repairs
• Manage workload and transport photo gear from contractor location to the warehouse
• Communicate with the administration team on service updates, technician notes
• Documenting repair work, parts usage, and technical observations in our system

Skills Needed to be Successful

• Professional experience in repair, soldering, troubleshooting, or related fields
• Mechanical or electronic aptitude
• Previous experience with an OEM
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to self-manage and switch between tasks effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions
• Patience, tact, and confidence when dealing with complex issues
• Photographic/product knowledge experience (a plus)
