Responsibilities

• Learn to repair vehicle glass with the Safelite Way of Fitting
• Complete vehicle glass repairs using industry-leading technology
• Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication through Safelite MRM technology
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform housekeeping tasks
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools, and chemicals
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and any other required licenses
• Completion of Safelite SafeTech™ certification
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Skills and Abilities

• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods
• Standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, bending, and twisting
• Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Operating a motor vehicle in compliance with all laws
• Maintaining professionalism and passion for customer service
• Working with chemicals (flammable and others) as required
• Working flexible hours to accommodate customer needs
• Solving problems and troubleshooting independently and collaboratively
• Reading, writing, and interpreting the English language and technical directions
• Communicating orally and written
• Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to Company uniform and PPE policies

Benefits

This position offers a competitive weekly base pay starting at $15.75/hour, a benefits package valued at over $10k, including a 401(k) plan with company matching, medical coverage, and paid time off programs. Additionally, there is up to $5,250 annually in tuition reimbursement and paid training.

Pay

$15.75/hour starting wage, with potential for raises based on performance and experience.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling to accommodate customer needs, with the possibility of driving duties monitored through cameras, GPS, and other tracking technologies.
