Responsibilities

• Utilize industry-leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs.
• Champion the Safelite Spirit with a can-do attitude, caring heart, and service mindset.
• Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass-related issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using Safelite MRM technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and any other required licenses.
• Completion of On-the-job training and Safelite SafeTech™ certification.

Skills and Abilities

• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods.
• Standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, bending, twisting.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Operating a motor vehicle according to all laws and being monitored via camera/video surveillance.
• Maintaining professionalism and passion for customer service.
• Working with chemicals (including flammable chemicals) as per the “Safelite Way of Fitting”.
• Working scheduled days with flexibility on start and end times.
• Communicating orally and written, maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to Company uniform and PPE policies.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting issues independently and collaboratively.
• Reading, writing, and interpreting the English language and technical directions.
• Maintaining stability under pressure and opposition.
