About the role

L3Harris is seeking a Program Scheduler to join their team. This position supports programs in developing plans and integrating inputs from all programs, interfacing with all elements of the program team to develop and maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The role involves schedule analysis, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex program schedules, including resource loading and Earned Value Analysis.
  • Support programs in developing plans and integrating inputs from all functional groups (finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality).
  • Perform schedule analysis, track plans and schedules, and conduct risk analysis.
  • Identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilize Critical Path, Driving Path, Variance metrics, milestone charts, Earned Value Management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.
  • Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines per DECM metrics.
  • Develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using SOW and WBS.
  • Create and track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Validate program schedules through baseline maintenance, including Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis (e.g., BEI, CEI, CPLI, SPI).
  • Implement and monitor Earned Value Management Systems on programs.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors, as necessary.
  • Attend and lead scheduling status reviews and conduct briefings with senior leaders.
  • Contribute to departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on results.
  • Participate in schedule training, engineering, and program excellence organizations.
  • Travel up to 20% to other L3Harris sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior scheduling experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior scheduling experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related scheduling experience.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and supporting schedules on assigned projects/programs.
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project.
  • 2+ years of experience creating and presenting project-level reports, presentations, and deliverables reflecting risk and status to program and senior management.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Working knowledge of Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG), EVMS Standard (EIA 748-D), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR).
  • Experience with Monte Carlo Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis).
  • Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies associated with EVMS.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality of product deliverables.
  • Familiarity with scheduling add-on tools such as OPDEC, Structured Solutions - SSI tools management, RiskyProject, or similar scheduling support software.
  • Experience with cost and schedule integration software.
  • Experience in macro development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Pay

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role varies by location:

  • California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas: $73,500.00 – $135,000.00
  • Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland (Ohio), and Vermont: $63,500.00 – $117,500.00

The final offer amount may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location.
