Responsibilities
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
- Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes.
- Collaborates on strategic roadmaps that align with customer roadmaps to expand the business.
- Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas.
- Leads competitive and sole source pursuits and proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of prior related experience.
- Familiarity with Defense and Aerospace industry.
- Experience with DoD contract execution.
- Prior successful program leadership role including demonstrated risk/opportunity and change management.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Able to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Degree.
- Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years of prior related experience.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Defense and Aerospace industry, Experience with DoD contract execution, Prior successful program leadership role including demonstrated risk/opportunity and change management, Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, Ability to manage and analyze budgets and cost controls, Proposal management experience, Risk and Opportunity management, Experience managing Field Service Representatives, Understanding of Cost & Schedule integration or full EVMS methodology, Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
