Specialist – Production Control

About the role

This position supports North American production control and supply chain operations, with a preference for candidates based in the Laredo, TX area for periodic visits to nearby logistics warehouses. The role manages order and inventory processes, supports production planning, and drives standardization across plants. Occasional travel to Mexico is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements
• Perform order and inventory management operations
• Coordinate, lead, and evaluate North American Production Control standardization activities
• Create training documents and train local North American Plants (NAPs)
• Develop and issue summary reports/schedules for activities performed
• Interact with customers, AISIN facilities, and suppliers

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) with fluent, business-level communication abilities in writing, reading, and speaking
• Production Control background in the following fields:
  • Program Launch and ECI Management
  • Master Data Management
  • Sales, Production, and Component Planning
  • Inventory Management
  • Logistics and Material Handling Operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
• Experience with ORACLE, FUTURE3, or POWER8 (beneficial)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is preferred or 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management.
