Production Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor material pickup points, last activity locations, and review router to determine where parts go to next.
• Ensure parts are delivered to appropriate locations.
• Expedite material flow through the shop floor by working collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams.
• Effectively communicate the status of deliverables, actions, and issues to stakeholders in various forums.
• Process shop order splits.
• Aid in ERP data integrity endeavors.
• Proactively participate in continuous improvement activities affecting the planning, procurement, build, and test process.
• Assist with any additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• HSD or GED equivalent required.
• Experience with processing planning and/or movement of material within an ERP system required.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to get tasks accomplished on time.
• Basic understanding of production flow, shipping/receiving operations, and/or stock room processes.
• Organized, capable of multitasking and setting priorities.
• Detail oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Must be a US Citizen.
