Production Control Specialist

About the role

Total Site Solutions (TSS), Georgetown, TX, seeks a Production Control Specialist to oversee and coordinate daily production activities.

Responsibilities

• Vet and track production schedules to ensure daily goals are met and communicate with management about schedule changes.
• Resolve and escalate issues affecting job progress, and coordinate production flow within the Manufacturing plant.
• Schedule and coordinate production work within the ERP system, establish priorities for customer orders, and revise schedules according to work order specifications.
• Confirm staff capabilities, materials, and equipment to set realistic deadlines for customers.
• Coordinate production hours with management to meet needs efficiently and effectively, ensuring materials are available on time.
• Confer with department supervisors to define work progress, compile reports on progress and downtime, and confer with department supervisors to define work progress.
• Lead productive meetings, create and distribute meeting minutes, and demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prioritize tasks and workload, manage high complexity and ambiguity, collaborate between Operations and Planning departments, and demonstrate strong computer knowledge including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and NetSuite.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in Production Control in a fast-paced, high-complexity, non-mass-producing manufacturing environment.
