Specialist, Product Line Operations (On Site)

About the role

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Specialist, Product Line Operations to join our team. This role is located in Rockford, IL.

Responsibilities

• Act as the responsible point of contact for the products within the assigned Value Stream(s) for production planning, supply chain, production, quality, and logistics to meet program milestones.
• Support and establish key elements of strategic and tactical operation plans.
• Create and maintain manufacturing transition and build plans.
• Prepare forecast and status of monthly sales performance.
• Ensure alignment with the customer program objectives.
• Manage / coordinate production sites to deliver to end customer, including aftermarket needs.
• Primary point of contact to the customer, along with the Product Line Lead, for operational discussions.
• Establish robust control and reporting systems to monitor progress against plans and business metrics.
• Formulate and drive plans, root cause and corrective actions, recovery plans and projections, based on analysis of program metrics and status.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience with basic production configuration management, planning principles and ERP system tools (i.e. SAP).
• Experience with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Product Support, Supply Chain, Contracts and Logistics management is preferred.
• Prior experience managing projects/programs involving electronic components, systems, or manufacturing processes strongly preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
