Job Responsibilities

Audit and validate payroll files and reports through reconciliation and review to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Administer batch pay entries, retroactive adjustments, off-cycle payments, stop payments, manual check preparation, and other variable pays accurately within a team environment.

Cook with stakeholders to compile payroll data including garnishments, time and labor records, paid time off, taxes, insurance, retirement contributions, and other third-party payments.

Upload, document, and transmit payroll files to external service providers to maintain payroll processing continuity.

Handle general inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and time and attendance to support employee and management needs.

Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 2-4 years Related experience working with multi-state payroll, payroll tax or garnishment administration. (Preferred)
  • Experience supporting a large organization (20,000+ people). (Preferred)
  • Experience with Workday, Kronos, ADP, KeneXa , Multi-state tax experience. (Preferred)
