About the role
As a Specialist on the Out of Home (OOH) team, your core responsibility is to steward OOH campaigns from inception through to fruition. You will receive hands-on training in traditional and digital OOH partners and executions, and work closely with the team to deliver all required materials to support recommendations and stewardship. While heavily integrated in the planning phase, the Specialist is also responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day maintenance of the accounts, supported by the Associate Specialist. Additionally, the Specialist, supported by the Supervisor, will be responsible for training Associates.
Responsibilities
- Autonomously manage day-to-day maintenance with little to no oversight
- Oversight of maintenance across assigned account(s)
- Billing, contracting, invoicing, trafficking, and post reporting of campaigns
- Train direct reports to be self-sufficient in managing day-to-day maintenance on accounts
- Produce a high-quality level of work
- Understand basic media terms and concepts
- Familiarity with OOH industry partners: Geopath & OAAA
- In-depth knowledge of OOH formats, vendors, and markets
- Experience planning across a variety of OOH verticals:
- Required: traditional, tra-digital/digital, digital place-based
- Preferred: experiential, event partnerships/event targeted, traditional embellishments (e.g., extensions, props/builds, illumination)
- Participate in strategy development and brainstorming meetings
- Steward OOH plans, including:
- Understand objectives of the assignment
- Delegation of workload
- Management of timeline/deadlines
- Writing RFPs (ensure all applicable relevant vendors are included)
- Negotiations
- Clear articulation of strategy
- Oversee post-buy tasks (production, trafficking, installation, post reporting)
- Compile and present topline overviews/new market opportunities, showcasing research and rationale
- Participate in/attend onsite and offsite meetings/trainings
- Participate in/attend market rides as needed

Experience & Education
- 1+ years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree is highly preferred but not required
- Fluent in Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- Prior employment at a media agency, preferably within OOH
- Experience buying and planning (not just one)
Pay
$70,400 a year. Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity.

Schedule
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 3 days in-office per week at our El Segundo office.
