About the role

We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to join our Audit and Closing department, which ensures the accuracy and compliance of contracts, closing, and loan documents prior to recordation. This position is ideal for a goal-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys daily challenges. While experience with reviewing real estate contracts, closing, or loan documents is preferred, it is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all tasks related to advanced real estate closing of vacation ownership involving deeded property, right-to-use, and financed sales.
  • Ensure an efficient flow of contract processing, entity contracts, and loans from initial receipt through review, closing document preparation, loan origination, and final recordation.
  • Review and audit executed real estate documentation (cash and financed) for correctness and acceptability prior to closing.
  • Verify the accuracy of all new owner information and determine the validity of contract and closing documents in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Conduct reviews of documents such as Trust Agreements and corporate documents to assess authorities, provisions, and requirements for purchasing or encumbering real estate.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for information regarding closing disbursement, check issuance, affidavit preparation for Escrow Agents, and report distribution.
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and copying.
  • Follow company safety, security, and confidentiality policies; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions.
  • Anticipate and address owners’ service needs while maintaining positive working relationships and supporting team goals.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost-savings.
  • Use computers and software to input, access, modify, and output information, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Monitor and respond to communications via email, voicemail, and other channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain office equipment and areas, including contacting housekeeping or maintenance as needed.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
