About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you will create a memorable shopping experience for our customers, guiding them through their beauty journey with expertise in hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails. We provide comprehensive training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend complementary products and inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Educate customers about and enroll them in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Execute product knowledge from training to support customer service.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow direction and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Working Conditions

The role requires physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching. You may also lift moderately heavy items, work around moving parts or machines, and occasionally be exposed to fumes, odors, or irritant chemicals.
