Responsibilities
- Procure products and services from a variety of suppliers to negotiate best pricing terms, monitor price changes, maintain pricing histories and standard configurations
- Follow, update and provide input on company processes and policies around procurement
- Understand technical differences between products and services and present to decision makers
- Track when contracts & licenses expire and plan renewal negotiations far enough in advance to guarantee the best leverage in negotiating for the company
- Understand capacity management and logistics to manage lead times for products
- Build redundancy and diversity in supply chain by establishing multiple sources of suppliers
- Understand technical differences between usage & licensing types (perpetual, Pay Per Use) and how each are billed and managed
- Resolve product, usage & licensing issues with suppliers and manage any disputes
- Follow and provide input on company processes and policies around usage & license management and reporting
- Review invoices to ensure they are accurate
- Build and monitor ongoing supplier spending trend analyses to identify areas of savings and improvement for the company
- Improve the international logistics capability
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Collaborate with key internal teams on end to end process, procurement to delivery. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Supportively work with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
- Responsible for receiving, transmitting, and handling company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT field, procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or related field
- 5+ years working in procurement or supply chain, preferably within information technology resources
- Superior knowledge of contracted IT services, such as SaaS applications, outsourced data center services, carrier services, software licensing, etc.
- Excellent contract and pricing negotiation skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data, then reporting on data to decision makers
- Aptitude in building strong relationships with key vendors
