Specialist II, Production Planning

Job Summary

At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Specialist II- Production Planning will play a key role in supporting production planning and scheduling activities within a high-volume manufacturing environment to align customer demand, production capacity, and inventory targets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production progress, inventory levels, and capacity constraints to identify risks and support schedule adjustments.
• Analyze production and inventory data to support decision-making and planning accuracy.
• Cook up with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of schedules, materials, and operational priorities.
• Support resolution of production and scheduling issues by identifying root causes and coordinating with internal teams.
• Maintain accuracy of production planning data, inventory records, and system inputs within planning systems.
• Track and report on production performance metrics, including schedule adherence and inventory levels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations within a high-volume production environment.
• Experience in production scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning.
• Experience analyzing production and inventory data to support operational decisions.
• Experience working in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
• Experience using systems for planning and inventory tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support production operations.
