Responsibilities

• Develops, manages and optimizes internal master schedule for assigned programs in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and Material Management
• Releases work orders to production floor based on internal master schedule, material availability and current capacity; manages complex scheduling scenarios
• Maintains manufacturing conformance to master schedule using ERP systems and reports. Expedites needed make items based on master schedule
• Directly oversees operational measures including but not limited to efficiency, floor inventory accuracy, release on time and on time delivery. Reports variances and action plans to address
• Manages and controls manufacturing floor stock for assigned programs; recommends inventory optimization strategies
• Advises management of work in progress status, material availability, and potential production problems involving personnel, equipment, materials and services; leads resolution efforts
• Collaborates with respective process owners to coordinate scheduling of shared equipment and personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment either as a production planner, master scheduler, demand planner, and/or supply planner
• Experience using an ERP system with MRP & MPS capabilities
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel (e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables), Power BI and has skill in preparing tables, graphs, and charts
• Experience with Trackstar Front End, Cognos Reports, and MTS systems
• APICS Certification
• Leverage Lean Manufacturing Certification / Training
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management peers and subordinates

• Ability to obtain US government clearance
