Who are we hiring?

The Specialist, HR Business Partner (HRBP) role is designed for a high-performing, solutions-oriented professional who can drive operational excellence through talent-focused initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner, this role will work closely with Sphere leadership teams to align HR strategies with business objectives.

What will you do?

  • Practice proactive and progressive human resource support by prioritizing time-sensitive business needs and executing with urgency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to embed innovation, efficiency, and simplification into core HR processes, proactively identifying and implementing improvements that elevate the employee experience.
  • Persistently partner with COEs in compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, communications, and learning & development to deliver seamless support across all phases of the employee lifecycle for designated business divisions.
  • Provide effective and timely HR administrative support for business units by ensuring accuracy, integrity of data, and driving consistent follow-through, process adherence, and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of employment laws and internal policies, ensuring compliance and consistency across supported business areas.
  • Support a positive, inclusive workplace culture by consistently administering company policies, practices, and employee relations processes while promoting employee engagement.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of core HR disciplines, including performance management, employee relations, talent development, compensation, compliance, and change management.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively across all levels.
  • A strategic and curious mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
  • An approachable, thoughtful collaborator with high emotional intelligence, strong self-awareness, and sound judgment.
  • A self-starter who works well autonomously, proactively identifies challenges, and drives timely solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication, active listening, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and alignment with company values and HR guiding principles.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM, Greenhouse, and Lucid is preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This role is currently based in-person at our headquarters in New York City, but we are open to remote work arrangements for the right candidate.
