Specialist, Guest Service

About the role

This position ensures the efficient flow of 24-hour communications by processing calls, monitoring alarms, and maintaining security processes.

Responsibilities

• Process calls through Lakeview Hospital and monitor duress alarms for Stillwater HealthPartners clinic on Curve Crest and Lakeview hospital.
• Maintain professional and courteous service by providing a warm welcome to every patient, guest, and team member.
• Act as a liaison between the hospital and security guards via cell phone and two-way radio.
• Maintain the security process by screening visitors after hours, making overhead announcements, and providing wheelchair escort for patients and visitors.
• Provide support to various team members as time allows.
• Keep track of those waiting for rides and ensure their comfort.
• Provide travel arrangements for guests, visitors, and staff as requested.
• Report facility maintenance and safety concerns to facilities and/or environmental services.
• Anticipate potential needs of patients and provide unexpected levels of care and service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities within time constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to privacy and confidentiality laws, policies, and procedures.
• Proficient in using MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in specific hospital software programs such as Epic.
