Specialist, Global Employee Health- Registered Nurse (Wilson, NC)
Join our dynamic employee health clinic in Wilson, North Carolina as an Occupational Health Registered Nurse.
About the role
This is an in-person position during core business hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with potential for after-hours on-call coverage. The role reports to the Associate Director of Global Employee Health and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Medical Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Administer medical surveillance programs, working closely with safety and key stakeholders: review questionnaires, administer vaccinations, collect lab specimens, test vision, perform audiometry and spirometry, monitor compliance, and assess outcomes of testing.
- Case management of work-related injuries in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and Workers Compensation Third Party Administrators.
- Manage occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries, including medical emergencies: triage, perform nursing interventions, and refer to the appropriate level of care.
- Assess employees returning to work from personal and work-related absences.
- Lead wellness activities including flu vaccination clinics and other company-sponsored events.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina nursing license in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in occupational health, emergency department, or related fields.
- Occupational health experience with North Carolina workers compensation is desirable.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED; nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft 365 suite and electronic medical records.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to interact collaboratively with colleagues and employees at all levels.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $87,300.00 – $137,400.00. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
